Bus Transfers To and From Sharjah International Airport

The Roads and Transport Authority- Sharjah, also known as RTA-Sharjah, is the only authority and regulator for the transportation and passenger sector in the city. One of the transport services it regulates is the bus transit system in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The city of Sharjah is served by reliable, low-cost, air-conditioned buses and coaches. They are the city’s public transit that transports passengers to and from Sharjah International Airport and other points of destination.

Hop aboard the Mowasalat Bus or take a long-distance trip in comfort with Air Arabia Coach, the two famous bus transits serving Sharjah.

Mowasalat Bus are bright orange buses departing from the Sharjah Airport every 15 minutes.

Mowasalat Bus takes four routes: Route 14, which runs between Al Shariq and Sharjah International Airport with bus stops in Rolla Terminal, King Faisal Street, and Maliha road. Route 15 runs between Rolla Terminal and Sharjah International Airport, with bus stops in University City. Route 88 runs between Rolla and Al Saja’a with bus stops in Al Arouba Street, Dhaid Road, and Sharjah Airport. Lastly, Route 99 runs between Jubail Terminal and Sharjah International Airport, with bus stops on Al Dhaid Road and Rolla Terminal.

The standard bus fare for a single ride for Routes 14, 15, and 99 is AED 7, while Route 88 costs AED 9.

Air Arabia Coach travels long-distance to and from Sharjah and other places in the emirates. All its coaches feature baggage carts, a regular trip from Sharjah Airport to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, and vice versa.

The standard coach service rate between Sharjah International Airport and Dubai costs AED 20 and AED 40 for routes between Sharjah Airport, Al Ain, and Abu Dhabi. In contrast, the Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah rate costs AED 30.
